Smart Love Scholarship Benefit and 10th Anniversary Gala
Raises nearly $70,000 for Families in Need

More than 160 families, friends and supporters of Smart Love Family Services and The Natalie G. Heineman Smart Love Preschool celebrated the organization’s Scholarship Benefit and 10th Anniversary Gala on Friday, February 24, 2012. The inaugural event took place at the newly opened Greenhouse Loft, which is housed inside Chicago's Green Exchange, the country's largest sustainable business community. The evening kicked off with a lively cocktail hour and silent auction filled with luxurious offerings and experiences. Guests were then seated for a delicious dinner and formal presentation about the organization, including a heartwarming video featuring friends, families and professionals of Smart Love Family Services and The Natalie G. Heineman Smart Love Preschool. After dinner, guests were able to further this support of the organization by participating in a spirited live auction.

Sponsored by ETA Cuisenaire, the inaugural event raised nearly $70,000. All proceeds from the benefit will support the Martha Heineman Pieper, Ph.D. and William J. Pieper M.D. Scholarship Fund, which serves children and families who meet eligibility requirements for financial aid.
