I Wonder Chart

With an indoor herb garden - or any other plants - you and your child can have fun making predictions about what your plants will be like as it grows! And then with time, you can see how accurate you were!
Activity Instructions
Make your chart
Print out the provided chart in the 'Fun!'sheets section or, with your clipboard, paper, and marker, create a chart to make predictions on how your herb garden will grow. On the left side of the grid list all the different plants or herbs and on the top of the grid list various attributes about a plant that your little one can predict.
Ideas for what to measure
How tall do you think the plant will be? Maybe as tall as you are? Or as little as an ant?
How many leaves do you think the plant will have?
What color do you think the plant will be?
(If it's a flowering plant) What color do you think the flowers will be?
Do you think it will have a scent or smell? Will it smell like an orange?
What do you think (if it's edible) it will taste like? Like chocolate? Like broccoli?
