Make Some Observations!

Have fun recording your observations of how your herb garden is growing! You can observe on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.
Activity Instructions
Make your chart
Print out the provided chart in the 'Fun!'sheets section or, with your clipboard, paper, and marker, create a chart to record how your plant(s) is growing. On the left side of the grid list all the different plants or herbs, and on the top of the grid list various attributes that you can measure like height, color, leaves, etc.
Compare and contrast
Then compare your observations with your predictions - did your herb taste like chocolate? You can continue to observe your gardens progress for many weeks and months as the plants grow!
What else grows?
Another fun thing to do is observe how much your child grows week to week and month to month. "You are growing like our plants too!".
